Be sure to check the HighSchoolSports.net link in the menu for schedule changes. Highschoolsports.net seems to have change the way calendars are referenced. When you select the link from the menu, it defaults to the Varsity schedule. To see the JV schedule, change "Varsity" in the address to "Junior Varsity" until a work around can be found. If you do not have an account on the highschoolsports.net site, I suggest you create one. They are free and you can set alerts so you get emails or texts when schedule changes have been made. This is the site used by all the WPIAL schools to publish their schedules.

THINK LACROSSE!

There is nothing, not anything that’s more important to us than you girls getting a good education. Don’t kid yourself, Chartiers Valley High School is a great place to go to school! Regarding this lax-team, you’re surrounded by intelligent women and men. Your coaches, athletic trainers and booster club officers are college graduates and every one of them wants you to succeed at lacrosse and at life!

Ladies, the world outside the high school doors is calculating and cruel! It’s embarrassing to live in a country that treats women unequally.

Even worse, the government knows it and allows it to happen! There is something wrong when women make 20% less than men for doing the same job! Therefore, it’s imperative that you set your academic goals high, diligently work to achieve them and get an education beyond high school! Out hope is you will love lacrosse so much that you’ll play in college and then “give back to the game” by returning to Pittsburgh and perhaps coach and/or umpire girls in our home town.
